UK DFID Sends Letter Of Invitation To S.A Job Creation
The Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on Job Creation,Mrs Josephine Washima Atama-Atta has been invited by the UK Department for International Development to serve as Chair at the launch of a report known as Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme(NSRP).According to the Invitation letter,the event is to hold at Transcorp Hilton on the 10th of June,subject to the availability of key participants.
The invitation letter was presented to the S.A by a representative of DFID,Jessica Banfield pictured above in the former's office.
NSRP is a five year programme aimed at supporting the initiatives of Nigeria actors and institutions to manage conflicts non violently and reduce the impact of violent conflict on the most vulnerable population.NSRP also recognises unemployment as one of the underlying drives of violent conflict in Nigeria,and is interested in supporting initiatives to ensure that empowerment and employment programmes are more effective.
